WHAT ARE SUN STEEPED SATURDAYS?

In an effort to connect more women in the community to the ocean and outdoors, I created Sun Steeped Saturdays.

A day where women from the community can come together, go on outdoor adventures, share good food, and continue to explore the community around us, all while doing a little good by spending a portion of Sun Steeped Saturdays learning about the environment and what we can do to help it in our local communities.

Whether it’s through cleaning up beach trash on a snorkel excursion or learning about invasive plants, Sun Steeped was founded in the spirit of conservation while maintaining a fun and sincere nature.

Essentially a Salty, Sandy, SUPER SUNNY Saturday hang.

In short, it’s a day for the girls.

But- really it’s building and fostering a community of women who want to re-live your days at girl scout camp and do good for the environment through oceanic and coastal adventures.

While a few events like the clean ups and surf meetups are free, some payment for travel or rentals for the event may be required. Paid events will be giving a portion of the profit back to oceanic conservation efforts.
